e-Com Manager is concerned about
protecting the rights and privileges of Internet use. As
such, we are committed to protecting your privacy. Any
information collected by e-Com Manager on our own site
or on our partner sites will be treated with the highest
regard for security and privacy.
Information
that e-Com Manager Collects
When an order is
processed through e-Com Manager, we must collect the
purchaser's name, email address, credit card information
and expiration date, and often the mailing address and
phone number. This information is collected strictly for
the processing and fulfillment of orders and to provide
order tracking and customer service support. e-Com
Manager may use this information to send the purchase
receipt or unlock key. We may also provide information
on the expiration of trial software to alert users to
pending termination of the use period and the purchase
options.
Protecting the Purchase
Information
e-Com Manager protects the
individuals' personal and credit card information
through the use of Secure Socket Layer (SSL). The logic
included in SSL encrypts the data being sent via the
Internet from the purchasers' browser to our transaction
servers and back. This high-level encryption technology
is widely accepted as a standard for online security of
sensitive information. This methodology prevents the
consumers' credit information from being viewed in plain
text.
The Use of Cookies
Cookies are
small pieces of information that are stored by your
browser on your computer's hard drive. The information
in a cookie is used by e-Com Manager to identify a
shopper for the purposes of increasing shopping
convenience within a site and to build the shopping cart
but not to track the traits or preferences of the
shopper for future sales.

parties, nor do we provide information collected from
one partner's site to another partner. We do not control
how our partners use the information gathered on their
